To book visits and tests through the National Health Service you can use the Tuscany Region booking portal or call our call centres, where you will be helped by highly specialised staff.
How to book
- Online, on the Tuscany Region booking portal: prenota.sanita.toscana.it
- By phone, CUP booking centre of Pisa University Hospital: 050 995995, Monday to Thursday, 8:30–17:00.

Important notice: validity of the medical referral
Since 1 October 2023 medical referrals are valid for 6 months instead of 1 year. Only prescriptions issued from 1 October 2023 are valid for 6 months; those issued earlier keep their 12-month validity.
The 6 months run from the day the referral was prescribed to the moment you book at the desk, through the call centre or on the website.
