The inpatient ward of the Department of Endocrinology is on the first floor of Building 8 of Cisanello Hospital.
How admission works
- Admissions are planned in advance.
- Patients are placed on a waiting list and then contacted by telephone by the nursing staff, according to priority criteria.
Reception and assessment
When you are admitted, the nursing staff carry out an initial assessment. The doctor on duty carries out a thorough clinical examination, reviews your medical records, completes the clinical file and defines the treatment plan.
All the medical documents you hand in at admission are returned to you at discharge.
Hospital rooms
The Department has no private (fee-paying) rooms.
